It is made entirely out of wool, which means that it will remain warm even when wet. It will last forever, and it will hold up to whatever abuse you can throw at it! And it has been weatherproofed using Swanndri’s traditional 101 year old secret method!

Size tip – OUR BUSHSHIRTS ARE OVERSIZED to allow up to three layers underneath, please take this into consideration when choosing your size. For the most accurate size choice, compare the “Bushshirt Chest Size” to something you currently wear. Please remember the “Bushshirt Chest Size” measurement is done by laying the garment down flat and measuring from one armpit to the other (2cm down from the armpit seam).

How to Measure Your Chest : Measure around the fullest part of your chest, place the measuring tape close under the arms and make sure the tape is flat across the back.
BUSHSHIRTS ARE OVERSIZED – (Original, Mosgiel & Ranger Styles) are generously sized to allow for the clothing worn underneath, so there is no need to allow an extra size for this. please take this into consideration when choosing your size. Great outdoor shirt. The shirt arrived today and, wow, it’s a superior quality. It will do it’s job (I’m sure, I own another wool shirt (which was made in Australia: Sorry!)) and warm you all the time. Only if it rains longer or hard you will need an outer shell. There were no problems with payment or international shipment. All steps were clearly documented by email respectively by the New Zealand Post (great job). So I’m a fully satisfied customer.

It’s still winter here in the Northwest and I’ll get to use it plenty before the weather shifts to Spring.
Main point of writing. Wowzer, much pleasure with this shirt. I really love wool and how comfortable I always am in wearing it. I have two other Swannis (their wool vest and their bush shirt,) so I knew well what I was in for. Really nice high quality and weight of NZ wool, nice cut, classic old school styling, fits me perfectly (and I have longer arms,) for sure warm… etc. it all goes together here. Definitely happy with this item. Excellent that I opted in and moved ahead to do this. Complete certainty that it will see years of use and be valued greatly all along the way.

Thanks to Ecowool for there service, me as an old grumpy man that doesn’t know the interweb, yet I got by and ordered a number of Swanndri pieces.
The shirt is great, a tight woven material so when you work and sweat you don’t get a cold.
For me I really enjoy the long back as it keeps me warm when laying bricks.
