native flowers skincare

While it is easy to be swept away with the gorgeous fragrance of the Wild Ferns Native Flowers collection, extracts from the plants themselves have been used and these all feature unique properties to assist in the health and well-being of our skin.

Various parts of the manuka tree have been used in traditional medicine for hundreds of years treating ailments such as head colds, inflammation, and rheumatic joints. Manuka has antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-acne, anti-wrinkle, astringent and healing properties.

Pohutukawa The pohutukawa is also known as the New Zealand Christmas tree due to the abundance of striking red flowers that bloom in December. Pohutukawa also has astringent and antiseptic properties.

Harakeke (New Zealand flax) Harakeke contains effective antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-acne, skin softening and healing properties.
