Windward sheepskin rugsWindward Premium Grade lambskins are made from quality New Zealand lambskins ~ less than one in 10 skins processed is considered good enough to wear the Windward brand. Windward processed its first skin in 1966. Since then, the company has constantly improved the processes used to convert one of nature's most versatile resources into a range of diverse and original lambskin creations. Windward uses totally organic molecules to tan its products. Each skin is processed through multiple stages before it is finally ready for sale. The result is a supple, full leather and a soft wool which is extremely stable to temperature and light. Windward rugs are slightly whiter than the creamy Ecowool rugs.

I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that I received my sheepskin that I ordered this past week and I was overjoyed! It is far more than I had anticipated and I am so pleased with it... the quality, size, color, etc... everything is perfect! My baby is due in 4 weeks and now has a beautiful sheepskin to sleep on! I remember when I was young, my Mom's boss was from NZ and he brought a sheepskin back for my baby brother to sleep on. Now that I am going to be a mom ...I can't wait for my baby to have one!
