Backhouse oilskin is a completely natural fabric which is wind and rain proof but which also breathes to keep the wearer warm and dry. Perfect for the farm, ranch, hunting, fishing, equestrian and tramping. Backhouse coats and jackets are classics, as tough as they ever were, but made by rather more sophisticated methods. They're fashioned from the finest 100% long staple Egyptian cotton, closely woven and oil impregnated to a traditional formula, which provides total wind and waterproofing, exceptional abrasion resistance and great longevity. They will prove to be a lifetime investment.

And now, as then, they're all made in New Zealand.

100% oiled cotton outer. Cotton inner. Storm cape and domes for detachable hood (sold seperately). Double storm flap with full length snap fastening brass domes. Deep internal drip strip. Snap adjustable cuffs.
